We are delighted to announce the expansion of our partnership with Everton Football Club, through Everton in the Community’s launch of an innovative education STEAM programme for schools across Merseyside. The new E-STEAM initiative combines football with robots for schools to engage and motivate young people from disadvantaged areas and transform the way children learn about technology.

The E-STEAM programme will deliver fun and imaginative learning to around 2,000 children aged 5 to 16-years-old. 63 schools across the Liverpool City Region will be included in the project to help pupil aspire to careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths (STEAM).

Thanks to iPads provided by EveryCloud, the children will be able to activate Sphero Bolt programmable robots and a football-themed coding curriculum – transforming the way that they learn, create and invent through coding, science, music and the arts. These will be used in schools across the region to enthuse and engage young people to take up STEAM-led education opportunities.

Rob Mukherjee, Director of Transformation at EveryCloud commented, “We are proud to have served Everton’s information security needs through our Protect Your Sport programme for a number of years now. It’s an honour to build on that partnership by supporting Everton in the Community to create a brighter future for the region’s young people and help bridge the skills gap.”
